Film and stage artist Sonia Okacha is remarkable for her atypical career path. Born in Morocco from a french mother and a Moroccan father, Sonia participated in stage productions as a child and developed a strong interest in drama. After classical studies in Paris, in trade and marketing, and a successful starting career in international press, she decides to go back to Morocco in 2010. Her meeting with N. Lakhmari and her part in his film Zero, one year later, marked a turning point in her career as an actress. In 2013, She won her first film award (Best Supporting Actress) for her performance in Zero at the National Film Festival In Tangier.
