Crystal Huang was born and raised in Shanghai, China. Her mother was a medical doctor and her father was a factory manager. Crystal grew up in Shanghai performing in local city theaters and host in major events. She got Bachelor of Arts degree in China, then went to USA and continued her education as a graduate student. She became a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer after graduation and worked in Lincoln Financial Group and Ivy International as a senior software consultant. After enjoying a successful business career she started performing again in San Francisco Bay Area. Besides stage performance, she enjoyed dance, photography and piano. She won the first prize in 2014 IGB ballroom dance in San Francisco, a merit award in Prestigious Black and White Magazine photography competition in 2019. She was also the winner of the Lady Oriental Beauty Pageant at San Francisco in 2016. In 2018 she took a major role in the acclaimed stage drama "The Joy Luck Club" adapted from Amy Tan's classic novel by the same title. She then came to LA and attended Speiser & Sturges Acting studio of Performance. She started making movies and shooting for commercials at LA. She has played roles in "Laolao," "Ballad of Blood Moon", "Bachelor Party" and other movies. Most recently she joined the production team of a featured film "Chinese Speaking Vampires".
